FileVeil is a privacy-focused tool designed to help users hide and protect files. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
You must not use FileVeil to process or distribute any content that violates applicable laws, infringes intellectual property rights, or causes harm to others.
You are solely responsible for the files and data you use with FileVeil. This includes ensuring that you have the necessary rights to process and share such content.
FileVeil does not monitor, access, or control user files.
FileVeil provides optional encryption features. If you choose to use an encryption key, you are fully responsible for keeping it secure.
If an encryption key is lost or forgotten, protected content cannot be recovered. FileVeil has no ability to restore access to encrypted data.
All file processing is performed locally on your device. FileVeil does not upload, store, or transmit your files to external servers as part of its core functionality.
Limited account-related data (such as email and payment details) may be processed to provide access to features and services.
FileVeil offers both free and paid plans. Paid plans provide access to additional features and higher usage limits.
All payments are one-time unless explicitly stated otherwise. Payments are processed securely by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. By purchasing a plan, you agree to the pricing and features at the time of purchase.
Paid plans are intended for individual use. Sharing access across multiple users, teams, or organizations is not permitted without separate licenses. For team or volume licensing inquiries, please contact support@fileveil.com.
Licenses are non-transferable. Offline access for eligible plans may require periodic online verification to confirm entitlement.
Payments are non-refundable once access to paid features has been granted. Please ensure that all information provided during purchase is accurate.
FileVeil is provided as an evolving service. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the service.
FileVeil is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FileVeil shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service.
This includes, but is not limited to, data loss, security issues, misuse of the service, or loss of access due to forgotten encryption keys.
FileVeil is a tool designed for privacy and legitimate use. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
